Happy New Year + 2 new mixes

Алексей Гордиенко (Одесса, Украина) - один из немногих пост-советских техно-музыкантов новой волны, чья работа была с одобрением воспринята в Европе.

Алексей начал увлекаться электронной музыкой в очень раннем возрасте. С 15 лет он пробует себя в написании собственных композиций (break beat, drum'n'bass, old school electro, techno).

Пройдя долгий путь самосовершенствования, в 2006 году он становится за диджейский пульт. В этом же году со своим соратником по техно-движению Андреем Смородой (Dj Ray Spirit) Алексей основывает техно-проект Odessa Soundfreaks.  Вместе они записывают новый материал - смесь groovy и percussive techno, с элементами electro-techno, который очень скоро выходит в свет.

Сегодня их композиции издаются на всемирно известных и почетаемых европейских и американских техно-лейблах (Yin Yang, TechHead, Audionautica, *Cutz, Sub Cult), впервые протолкнув украинский техно материал на мировую сцену. Композиции и ремиксы, как от Odessa Soundfreaks или Codename Guard (его electro-techno проект), так и от его собственного лица, сотрясают мировые танцполы и радио-эфиры, получая поддержку от таких знаменитых техно ди-джеев как Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Dave Calrke, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Aaron Liberator, Alex Calver aka Calvertron, Pedro Delgardo, Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Wehbba, Dylan Drazen, Josh Love и др.

2008 год для Алексея ознаменовался выпуском новых пластинок, основанием лейбла Toyfriend Music, а также записью первого сольного альбома "12" на крупнейшем российском танцевальном лейбле Радио Рекорд. В альбом вошли 12 треков, каждый из которых является техно-интерпретацией месяца года, с декабря по ноябрь.

Его стиль - это уникальная смесь мелодичного techno и house/tech-house элементов. Алексей искуссно варьирует между легким и тяжелым грувом, детройт-техно и заводным перкуссионным техно, на сегодняшний момент являясь самобытным представителем этого стиля.

Alexey Gordiyenko (Odessa, Ukraine) is one of those post-Soviet new-wave techno musicians who's work was highly appreciated in Europe. 

Alexey started his first experiments in electronic music beeing a teenager. At the age of 15 he tries himself in composing tracks in break beat, drum'n'bass, old school electro, techno styles. Coming a long way improving his skills he starts Djing in 2006. That year he also starts a techno-project "Odessa Soundfreaks" alongside with his techno-mate Andrey Smoroda (aka DJ Ray Spirit). Together they create plenty of high-quality tracks, mixing up styles of Tribal-, Detroit- and Electro- Techno, labour for the individual sound.
"Odessa Soundfreaks" was the very first ukrainian techno project released at wold's well known labels (Yin Yang, Adult, TechHead, *Cutz, Sub Cult). 

His tracks and remixes as long as from Odessa Soundfreaks and Codename Guard (his electro-techno moniker) are played by world's biggest DJ's such as Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Dave Calrke, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Aaron Liberator, Alex Calver aka Calvertron, Pedro Delgardo, Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Wehbba, Dylan Drazen, Josh Love etc. 

2008 sees Alexey starting a new techno-label "Toyfriend Music" and the release of his first solo-album called "12" on russian major-label "Radio Record". It contains 12 tracks, each representing the techno-interpretation of each month of the year.
